Nordstrom Looks for The Arizona Fall

As the “fall” season hits Arizona there is a slight switch in clothing we minimal season lovers wear. While the minimum temperature only falls to around 67 degrees that is a dramatic difference between our 102 degree weather we all have grown so fond of. Our version of bundling up may not be layers, turtlenecks, and winter coats but, we do still have our ways of keeping warm in our “brisk falls”.

Let’s get cozy
When in the dorm you will almost 100% of the time catch me in comfy clothes. Usually the dorms are home to getting school work done, hanging out with friends, watching netflix, or just living. There really is no need to look glamorous in this setting but there is still a way to look stylish.

This look I put together is a long sleeve CHASER tee and some CHASER comfy black shorts. While not too colorful, it still has the hint that you put some effort into your outfit. About a step better than a t-shirt and the pj shorts you've had since you were 9 and a step below what you would throw on to grab a coffee. This is the perfect sweet spot for what to wear in the dorms during the fall.

Casual Day
During a usual day you will catch me wearing running shorts or yogas with a sorority tee. I mean c’mon, what girl in college will you not catch on a usual day wearing that? However, when us girls step out of our daily routines of going to class and doing homework you can catch us putting some effort into our outfits.

This look is something you could wear out to a lunch or if you are taking a little day trip. The top is a SANCTUARY cold shoulder light sweatshirt material top. While it is still a little warm during the day you can get away with this because of the cutouts and the light material. The shorts are TopShop very distressed super high waisted jean shorts. Since the jean shorts are so high waisted they will really hug you into that hour glass figure. To balance these two pieces I recommend tucking one side of the top into the shorts to show off more of your figure.

Date night
We all need a fun night out on the town every once in awhile. Whether it is with your girl squad or your mans we all like to dress up just a little bit. Not anything too fancy but just enough to spice up your look to make you feel sexy. It could be a dinner downtown or a surprise date night this will bring your inner girlboss out.

The two pieces I put together for this look were simple but sexy colors. You guessed it! Red and black. TopShop jeans have been all the rage for the past few years. They seem to hit you in just the right places no matter your figure. These are perfect for your shorter girls like me with their ⅞ length cut so they don’t run too long. To mix up the textures in this outfit I threw in a red silky satin blouse by TREASURE & BOND. For this I would recommend tucking in but fully not just a corner. Like with the Casual Day outfit, this will add shape to your body. This outfit will allow you to stay comfy due to the materials and really focus on your night on the town.

Love Always,
